Sheets of wood veneer glued together with adjacent plies having their grain at right angles to each other.

These plies are glued together with Water Boiled Proof (WPB) glue to protect the sheets from braking, dissociating and rotting in damp and wet conditions. Also the sheets are overlaid with a thin film on both sides to provide smooth surface for shuttering. For further protection the sheets are painted with water resistant paint on the sides and edges.
